Cisco Academy近期将不会开发NA级别的语音和无线课程

In September 2008, we indicated that we would communicate our direction on voice and wireless technologies in six months. We have decided not to develop any new voice or wireless courseware for the Cisco CCNA concentration certifications at this time.

We have consistently heard that equipment investment and maintenance are major barriers for many academies. Voice and wireless solutions require higher up-front equipment expenses and more frequent updates than routing and switching equipment. As equipment is a critical element in helping students gain hands-on experience, this would present a significant challenge to most academies and limit their ability to adopt voice or wireless courses. We need to ensure we have an effective and scalable equipment solution that broadly meets the needs of our students and academies before we invest in developing any voice or wireless courses.

大意实际上就是说，因为设备投入和维护比较大，而且课程需要更新的频率也要比路由交换要频繁，所以目前开展课程时机不对，等有了有效的可扩展的设备解决方案才会开发语音和无线的课程。
目前比较实际的就是NA级别的安全课程已经更新英文课件，也已经可以开课。课程内容并不多，是比较基础的关于安全内容的入门课程。
