LPI启动“免费重考计划”
（LPI 北京时间6月1日）全球最大的第三方Linux认证组织Linux Professional Institute（LPI）宣布作为对Linux认证学习者的支持和鼓励，LPI于2009年6月1日在中国地区启动LPI一级认证、LPI二级认证和LPI三级认证免费重考计划，考生可通过Pearson VUE在当地的考场进行免费重考。
自2009年6月1日起参加LPIC-1、LPIC-2及302、303认证考试的考生均可享受一次免费重考的机会，参加免费重考的考生可在第一次考试失败后45天内向LPI北京办公室申请免费重考。
获得免费重考的步骤：
1、 考生须在第一次考试失败后45天内向LPI北京办公室申请并参加免费重考
2、 考生可登录LPI中文网站下载“重考申请表”并按照要求填写个人信息，然后将“重考申请表”和考试成绩报告一同发送至LPI北京办公室
3、 LPI在收到您的“重考申请表”及考试成绩报告后会在两个工作日内对您所提交的信息进行核对，确认信息后为您安排重考
LPI免费重考的一些注意事项：
1、 免费重考通过Pearson VUE授权考试中心进行。
2、 免费重考课程包括：101、102；201、202；302、303
3、 考生必须提供第一次考试成绩报告
4、 免费重考必须在第一次考试7天之后45天之内进行考试
5、 免费重考针对每一门次考试只有一次机会
6、 优惠活动期间举行的考试不享受免费重考
